Who we are
Rooted in Ayikudy.Serving since 2006.
We began in 2006 with a simple belief — service is the highest duty. Nearly two decades on, that belief has grown into after-school learning, higher-education scholarships, music and sport, women's livelihoods, elderly care, and a sports academy taking shape on 21.53 acres of land.
We celebrate festivals across faiths, work in step with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and welcome donors to visit and see the work for themselves.

Our story
It began in Ayikudy, in 2006.
Ayikudy is a quiet town at the foot of the Western Ghats, near the temple town of Tenkasi. Many families here live on daily-wage work and beedi-rolling, where the need for education — let alone sport or the arts — is easily set aside.
In February 2006, Sri Subramanya Charitable Trust started here with a single aim: a positive impact on the lives of children from these heartlands. What began with support for 20 students has grown, quietly and steadily, into programmes spanning education, the arts, sport, women's livelihoods and care for elders.
Nearly two decades on, we remain what we always were — a conduit for the good intentions of our benefactors, working to better one village at a time.

On 21.53 acres at Keezhapuliyur, we are building a multi-discipline sporting home for rural Tenkasi — because education is incomplete without sport. Courts, coaching and a corpus to sustain it for generations.

Gho Seva & Cattle Care
At Sri Subramanya Charitable Trust, we care for two cows and one calf with love and compassion. Our Gho Seva initiative reflects our commitment to kindness towards animals and respect for traditional values.

In Hindu tradition, Gho Daan (the gifting of a cow) is regarded as a sacred act of charity and is traditionally associated with spiritual purification and the attainment of moksha.

District Junior Athletics Championship 2026
Our young athletes excelled at the 5th District Junior Level Athletic Championship, winning 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze medal across running and Kids Javelin events. Two students were selected to represent the district at State-level competitions.

Free Silambam Classes
Sri Durga Vani Accessible Sports Academy offers free Silambam classes to encourage traditional martial arts, physical fitness, discipline and confidence among young learners.

A 43 m × 25 m football turf is under development at our Academy, with a project budget of ₹28 lakhs, to expand access to structured football training and recreational sports.
